Avery has had several milestone moments in the last week. She will now follow you with your eyes as you move your finger or walk past her. She is also holding her head up on her own quite a lot now too, albeit a little wobbly. Much to my chagrin, she has yet to master sleeping through the night, but that's gotten a lot better too. We swore up and down we wouldn't let her sleep in the bed with us (for safety reasons), but she made liars out of us. She's much happier, sleepier and quieter. And she likes to snuggle her head right into my armpit.

Jimmy's mom (Grandma Jan) and aunt (Great Aunt June) came and visited us here in Colorado. Now Avery has met all of her grandparents, who each have proceeded to spoil her with gifts, kisses and lots of holding. If we think this kid is spoiled now, we've got another think coming. I believe all the grandparents will attest to this.
