What Has Possessed Me?

Why I love my child (and am secretly jealous):

1. She looks cute ALL THE TIME! Fresh-faced in the morning with no makeup and tousled hair. Every yawn, cry and drooly mouth is cute. Mommy can't pull any of that off...not even on a good day.

2. Baby's breath doesn't smell (well, only after the spit-up is it a little ripe, but otherwise, not-so-bad).

3. Already, her eyelashes are longer than mine.

4. Only someone her size can sport a velour outfit with feet.

5. Ah, her feet. Perfect. Cute and pudgy. Edible in my eyes.

6. She eats what she wants, when she wants and doesn't notice or care how round her belly is getting. It's quite the protuberance.

7. She is carried everywhere (thus the perfect feet).

8. She's a showstopper basking in the spotlight. EVERYONE comments on how adorable she is and of course, her head of hair.

9. She has a smile, laugh, pout and cry that melts my heart.

...but I can be coerced into a smile.
