This weekend, we determined that Avery did not have enough toys. Several friends gave us toys that their children had outgrown and she's received toys that are better suited for her when she's a little older. So, we decided that since she's playing a lot more and into toys, we figured it was time to broaden her playtime options.
Needless to say, Mom & Dad went a little crazy at Target. We had SOO much fun monkeying with all toys they had. We played with the ones that mooed and roared and the other soft fuzzy more educational toys too. And with all the fun we had, we probably spent more than we needed to as well.
In other news, Avery is doing MUCH better in daycare now. It only took a month, but now they too get to see the smiles we see all the time at home. She's playing with the other babes and eating/sleeping well too. She actually takes longer naps at daycare than she does when she's home with us!! She's also figured out the sippy cup, but drinks very little from it.
The weather the past two weeks has been phenomenal. It actually felt like spring with all the snow melt and sunshine. We went for long walks and enjoyed being able to see the grass on our lawn. This was all short-lived though, as we got over a foot this weekend. Apparently, in these parts, we can expect snow into May, which totally sucks!
She plays with it more than anything, but she looks like she knows what she's doing.
Out for a stroll through the hood. Leaving dad a little present
Kinda gross and a little hard to notice, but there's a snot bubble in this picture.
Caught off guard
All the new toys and we play with the burp cloth.
Ha...look at me!
Mommy LOVES my fat and cute little feet.
