Well, not so much coco puffs per se, but someone REALLY loves Gerber Puffs, all flavors. Avery is really getting after our food, so about a week ago, we thought it might be worth a try to give her something she could feed herself with
First go at it, she didn't have quite the dexterity or coordination to get them into her mouth. Her pincer grasp was pretty good, but she still raked at them. Now, she can grab a handfull and shove them all in her mouth. It's quite funny to watch her so intently try to eat them and we've only seen her get frustrated once.
The nice thing about puffs is that they keep her entertained. And while they have no nutritional value, she likes eating them.

Sweetie, you should spit out the binky before trying to eat the puff.

The typical end result of a puff marathon...puffs everywhere! Most on the floor, some in the mouth and many stuck in random places.
