Avery has become what I have deemed, a glider. She cruises throughout the house, and when you look for her from over the couch, all that can be seen is her head moving along. She doesn't toddle, waddle, or step akwardly, she glides.
AND she's become 'Sam' from that Seinfeld episode. Remember the episode where Elaine is accused of being catty when she makes fun of a woman at work who doesn't swing her arms when she walks? Yep, that's my girl. It's very amusing. I'm working on getting some video to upload.
So, while gliding without moving her arms, she's also perfected her disappearing act. If at all distracted, she will leave the room from right under your nose and be found in an entirely different part of the house. Behind the door of the walk in closet resulted in a lot of yelling and frantic-ness for mommy this weekend. As such, we've taken to closing every door in the house, but now she likes to monkey with the handles, so we'll be putting those child AND parentproof knobby things on our handles in short order.
Avery's using two-word sentences and is very responsive to every question asked of her. Aside from the usual 'yeah' reply, she's also taken to nodding and shaking her head. And she's always ready for that intellectual chat about everything. She still has so much to say.

A recent cute activity...trying to get her shoes on. So close sometimes.

Her latest cute activity...walking through the house with her duck washcloth on saying "kak-kak".
