As of 12:52 p.m. today -- We're Homeowners!
Given how expensive homes were/are in the Bay Area, the prospect of actually owning one was never really on our minds. But after deciding to have a family, we knew that's what we wanted, and after the countless moves, we've finally put down roots.
So, if you're ever in Arizona, please feel free to come cool off at our pool (which is fenced, of course).
We got a steal on this 4-bedroom, 2 bath home on an almost 12,000 sq ft lot. Yep, Jimmy's got big plans for a putting green! It's in a GREAT neighborhood with golf course perks and excellent schools.
It was a short sale transaction*, so this house has special needs...meaning it needs some TLC. But we're more than ready to truly make this home ours!
*Don't get us started on our short sale experience. Just know that we're VERY happy it's over and that the end result was us getting the house we REALLY wanted.
