If you don't know much about us, you should definitely know that we're HUGE fans of the Food Network. We watch everything: Everyday Italian (I'm a HUGE Giada fan), Ace of Cakes, Good Eats, Unwrapped, Throwdown w/ Bobby Flay, you name it, we'll watch it. It's become such a regular channel on our tv, that any time or anywhere Avery sees the Food Network logo she shouts, "CAKES!"; must be all the Cake Challenges we're ALWAYs watching (heh heh heh). Anyway, one of our favorite shows is Diners, Drive-ins & Dives w/ Guy Fieri. We want to try all the food at all the places he's been too, just because it looks SO good. We appreciate good food and if it's affordable, that's even better. We recently saw an episode featuring a place here in Arizona called Joe's Farm Grill, and set out this weekend to try it.

At Joe's, they use locally grown ingredients, most from the farm NEXT door. Their focus: common food done uncommonly well and served quickly. It's just like your local diner or drive-in, but their service, efficient food handling and atmosphere were outstanding. We couldn't have timed our arrival any better, because shortly after we got there, there was a huge wave of people flowing in. What more could you ask for on a perfect late-November day than to be sitting outside enjoying a great meal with family?
Visitors notice: if you're coming to see us, we're going here!

NooOOoo...don't take my plate!! I not done Mommy!
