Mother May I

"No you may not!" is the reply most often heard from our darling daughter. Ask her if you can do something and in her sternest tone, she'll let you know if you may or may not. Funnily, our daughter yells at you with good grammar, who knew.
Grandma, FunPop, Auntie Laurie and Unka Wawwy (or Uncle Larry), all got to experience this first hand while they were here visiting. It took a while for her to warm up (okay, maybe only 20 minutes) but once she did she LOVED having everyone around. Our little ham loves being the center of attention. It was very cute when yesterday afternoon she asked, "where's gwamma and FunPop?" Jimmy: "They went back to their house in Washington." Avery (in her angry/sad voice): "No they MAY NOT go back to their house in waffinton."
It was great having my folks and my aunt and uncle visit. It seems everyone got the relaxation they needed during the four and a half days they were here. My aunt and uncle escaped Minnesota for pool time and golf. And my parents were in heaven with lots of golf and home improvement projects. Thanks Mom for all you hard work, it has not gone unnoticed! I hope we can make this an annual trip!!
