Christmas Comes Early This Year

So, Jimmy and I waited too long to get our Christmas tree, actually we almost didn't buy one at all, but we figured we should since it was Avery's 1st Christmas. We normally like to get a six foot tree or taller, but well, we're lame. We're going to spend Christmas with my family in Washington and didn't want to buy one when we'd be leaving shortly thereafter. So, this year we opted for a fake tree, it's cute.

We didn't have a star that wasn't too heavy for our little tree. So we used one of Avery's finger puppets.

One of the things we were SOOoooOOO excited to get Avery for Christmas was a Bumbo Chair. Inspired by our nephew Carter who had one when we were in Alaska for Christmas last year, we HAD to get one. And we couldn't wait to put her in it. She digs it...sometimes.

She naps and that's where the binky ends up.

**Sorry there aren't many pictures this week. Been busy with X-mas shopping, etc.

   Victoria had a Bumboo too and it only lasted for about a month. She learned how to arch out of it pretty fast so it became somewhat unsafe.
   We use it in the shower these days :) She gets to sit in it while mommy takes a shower and then Tori gets to shower too.

   Love the finger puppet for the topper! We did end up putting up the tree, but I threw a little (okay, big) fit when it came time to decorate it since I just wasn't in the mood, and my husband ended up doing it alone. He saved the topper so we could put that up together.
   
   Keep me posted on how Avery likes the Bumbo chair...I've heard good things in general but not really too many specifics.
