I Brake For Cakes

Here's cake number 2!

I'm pleased, although, my mascot, Lou Seal, could have been a little better. His arms started to slip off, as I don't think the gumpaste was completely dry when I assembled him. Also, I didn't finish painting the seams on the baseball, but I did perfect the fondant application. No seams or folds. Overall, I think I did well for only my 2nd attempt using fondant.

Vanilla cake with cookies & cream filling. Buttercream frosting and Satin Ice fondant colored orange. Gumpaste Lou Seal and fondant accents. Everything is edible.

Wow....this is one is perfect. You are starting to master this. You should definatly get into baking...with Roy as a chef and you as a baker, we could break the bank if we open a new business together. What do you say?!

P.S. You will have to move to Chicago though... :)))
    Great job!
