What Has Possessed Me?

Last Monday, we agreed w/ our daycare provider to have Avery start wearing panties and frequently asking if she needs to use the potty. Avery's been mostly leading this charge and we've been quietly following, not really pushing the issue. But now that she's been waking every morning with a dry diaper and immediately using the potty when she sits, it seemed like a good time.

More often than not, when asked if she needs to go, she'll tell us "No, thank you". But after a long period of time, if we ask (or make) her try, we usually get a trickle. She's definitely learning how to control her urges and we managed only 3 accidents in the 1st week. Progress!

This is such a huge (and welcome) transition.
