Last week, we flew to Montana to visit Jimmy's family in Browning. And this particular week also happened to be the 58th Annual North American Indian Days celebration.
The celebration in Browning was an intriguing way to see authentic Blackfeet traditions. Tipis were pitched on the reservation's powwow grounds for four days of contest dancing, games, a number of sports events and socializing. The event comprised one of the largest gatherings of United States and Canadian tribes.
Avery had a great time interacting with all her cousins and extended family, most of whom she'd never met. I like to think she charmed them all with her funny remarks and good manners.
During our time there, we also visited Glacier National Park, which was incredibly beautiful! Avery was a good sport during the long plane rides, numberous rides in the car and awkward sleep schedule. But she especially loved playing with her Cousin Caitlyn and couldn't wait to see her every time they were apart. It was very cute!

At the parade, getting in position to jump out and grab the candy they were throwing.

Getting some candy coaching from dad.

Avery met this group of sisters and immediately started up a conversation with them. My kid isn't shy at all.

Moving in for a lick.

Glad you had a great trip; wish we all could've been in Montana at the same time. Not sure when we'll all make it to Arizona again...hopefully before Avery grows too much more.
LOL about the hoodie restraint!! That's awesome!
